FROM A BRAZILIAN DREAM TO A NEW YORK STORY…

In 2003, Fernanda Lacerda saw something missing in New York—a place where women could take care of all their beauty needs under one roof. Inspired by the full-service salons of her native Brazil, she opened Maria Bonita in SoHo, bringing Brazilian warmth, hospitality and a deeply personal approach to beauty to New York.

More than two decades later, the story continues at 497 Broome Street, where Maria Bonita begins a new chapter—rooted in the spirit that made it a SoHo favorite, with a fresh vision for today.
